And They're Off!

You may be wondering "what's off"??? Well, my fundraising effort for 2007 has officially started today and I sent out over 150 e-mail messages and letters to the supporters of my 2006 fundraising campaign. I'm again racing in the Founder's Lumberjack 100 mountain bike race in June (16th to be exact) to benefit the CNCF (the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation). More messages, press releases and any other items I can think of to get the word out will soon follow... so help me spread the word.

As many of you may know, Christi lost her four-year long battle against this deadly disease on September 19, 2006 and those that came to know and love this special little girl miss her dearly. This year's race will be dedicated to the memory of Christi and how she inspired countless people across the world with her strength and courage.

If you are interested in supporting my ride and helping to raise money for this great cause, please visit my online donation page where you can pay by credit or debit card. Or, if you prefer you can mail a check made payable to "CNCF" to me at 12369 Verona Rd., Battle Creek, MI 49014. This way your donation can be logged on my site and help count towards my $15,000 goal. I surpassed $12,000 last year, so hopefully this year's goal will be met!

Thanks for your support. While we can't bring Christi back, we CAN continue the fight in hopes that future children will be able to beat this deadly disease.

See you on the trail...
Eric

Awesome! I donated and emailed all my friends telling them to donate.

I admire what you have done for Christi and the Thomas Team... and what you do about neuroblastoma and finding a cure!

Eric,

I met you briefly at Christi's funeral, and wanted to thank you for doing this in her memory. I wish I was able to give more, but will certainly encourage others to give. If there is anything else I can do to help you in this endeavor, please do not hesitate to ask.
